Overview: The handheld partial discharge tester is a multi-functional handheld instrument, mainly composed of a host and earphones. It is mainly used for detecting partial discharge conditions in electrical equipment such as GIS insulators, switchgear, transformers, busbars (connections, wall-through bushings, support insulation parts), circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and cable joints. It is based on the transient earth voltage (TEV) and ultrasonic detection methods to test the partial discharge conditions of equipment, with color screen LCD display, different colored lights indicating detection results, and is compact, portable, and easy to operate.
