ST-JFAU4 4-in-1 PD Sensor (UHF + US + TEV + Temp)

Overview: When partial discharge occurs, voltage and current pulse signals propagate along the inner surface of the metal enclosure of the test object. When encountering openings, joints, and other gaps, they exit the device and propagate along the outer surface of the metal enclosure to the ground. The instantaneous voltage value varies from a few millivolts to a few volts and exists for a very short time. After the discharge pulses are detected by an external capacitive probe, they undergo a series of amplification, filtering, and other processing before entering the acquisition unit for processing. Finally, the test software analyzes and processes the discharge signal. This product is a four-in-one intelligent partial discharge sensor integrating ultra-high frequency (UHF), ultrasonic, transient earth voltage (TEV), and temperature detection functions. Through four complementary detection methods, it can detect partial discharge signals more comprehensively and accurately. The combination of UHF, ultrasonic and TEV enables both internal and external detection of switchgear, while the temperature function provides auxiliary fault identification means. Suitable for high-precision partial discharge monitoring of important switchgear equipment.
